Found this on my pillow case about 4 weeks ago. It’s been washed a few times now but the stain still wont come off. I sleep with my make up on sometimes but im guessing make up would come off after a wash

    Help-

From what I’ve gathered, the fecal specialist is taking a break from the boards. You should buy some monitoring tools if you’re really worried.

    Good luck.

I think fecal matter comes off in the wash.
    Not an expert though

From my own personal experience, they don’t wash out easily without some extreme spot treatment being done first. Even then I’m not convinced they would. I washed mine twice and the spots still smeared afterwards. Had photos of before the wash and after, and stains remained. A lot of makeup will wash out, though.

Bed bug fecals are like an egg yolk when freshly made and break down to liquid after a while, you can see in the photo that the fabric has some texture and only the higher threads are stained while the lower areas remain clean (valleys if the analogy can be used), that points to me that the stain is made by a solid rather than a liquid, as so, I would say that this is not bed bugs related.
The bed bugs fecals are nothing else than our blood partially digested and not that easy to clean and we use that to state the progress of the cases that we treat as as they are washed they lose color.

Thank you eveyrone for reading my post and replying. I was really worried. It’s been just over 4 months since we’re back from the hotel. Im trying to think that after this amount of time i would be able to see a lot of signs if we did brought them back with us (if there were any in the first place). We have David Cain’s passive monitor too and there’s never been anything on it
