Hello, so by now, I figured out most of these are spider beetles right? But the one that makes me worry is the shedding I found. I'm pretty sure I didn't find the shedding in my bed but every bug in this pic I found was dead. This is the only shedding I found that looked bed buggy. The one circled. I have no bites. No itching. I had found little shiny yellow skin-like tiny things in my bed though so that gets me worried too. But ever since I cleaned and changed the sheets .. Nothing. 2 days so far (july13). The second I found the bugs I checked everywhere on my mattress. The seams and everything and I found nothing.. My exterminator is taking his sweet ass time to come see because "nothing is for sure".. I think the closest time he can come see is maybe Monday.. I'm tired of being on edge.. What do you guys think of all this? By the way I've had someone over a few times and so far no news of bed bugs at their place or bites on them. I understand that I may show no signs of a reaction because thats possible but someone who comes over almost every week and stayed a few days also had no reaction. What is going on. I've lived here since mid may. And no bites or seen any live bugs.. What are your opinions?

Sounds like no bed bugs if you've found no cast skins, live bed bugs or fecal deposits.

    Hi,

No, this is a shed skin:

However, the spider beetles have been associated with skin reactions in some people. Occam's razor would say start there rather than bed bugs.

    Hope that helps.

There are a few shiny spider beetles. Also in the first picture near the coin there is a nondescript object that looks like there are legs. Not sure what that is. The object you have circled in red looks like the abdomen of a bed bug. It's very flat.

Should I be worried? If i dont see any live ones or got any bites? Could this be a lone bed bug from a long while ago?

Spam filter may have eaten the original post, or it was removed when the photo link was added. I just quoted the very end of the post, there was more information given.

Yes. Body part could be from even a long while ago.

The post was in the spam filter. This happens sometimes. It may have happened because the same link with same wording was posted more than once in the thread. The spam filter can remove a post after it is seen.

I check daily and remove things from the spam filter then-- it's been restored above. Sorry for the confusion!

I started and run the site but am "not an expert."
