Today I found a fresh blood smear on my sheet, which I can probably dismiss because I do have a few cuts on my hands. However, upon further inspection I found 2 possible fecal spots on my pillow case. I am attaching the best pictures I could get of the spots. Can anyone tell me if this is bed bug related?

I will also note that I tested the second spot with hydrogen peroxide and it did fizz a bit and turn white before it dried. I have a BB Alert Passive on the bed which sitll remains clear.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. As always, thank you everyone for your time and efforts.

It doesn't look like fecal matter to me. All the fecal matter I found was much, much darker than that (think leaving a black ink gel pen or a black permanent marker like a Sharpie uncapped so that the ink could bleed out into the fabric.)

If I found that on my sheets, I would assume that it was a pimple or a small cut or just about anything other than bed bugs.

Thank you for your reply buggyinsocial. I thought it was a little light to be fecal, but in light of the fresh blood smear I saw on my sheet I got a little nervous.

Does anything on this site LOOK fecal to anyone? It seems not.

I can't understand why everyone doesn't just buy the tester. It would help to reduce much anxiety, or to help point the way to a harborage if the test comes up positive.

Thank you for the suggestion so unsettling. Another posted had suggested the same thing to me in the past, but I was unable to locate the test through the link he provided. Where did you get your tester?

    Hi,

    100% not faecal material.

I cant seem to find the link for mt blood spot analysis PDF but it would help you to do self identification if you can find it.

Thank you David. Identifying signs is so confusing and frustrating for me. I will try to find your PDF. I know I've looked at it before, but having never seen signs with my own eyes (not online), everything look suspect to me. You do a great service to all and I appreciate your assistance.
