Hi - I've used M & K many times (7 at home and 4 at work). I feel like I've put his kids through college by now!
Had bbs at my workplace, bldg decided to do their own treatment which didn't work. I eventually persuaded them (after 7 months) to get M & K in, sure enough the bbs were in my chair at work. Mike did a full treatment, brought K back 6 weeks later = all clear, 2nd treatment was done by Mike as a precaution. I was still getting 'bites' so we've had Kody back 3 times since then and still get all clears at work. Hoping it's just my skin (my derm says I have folliculitis and old bite flare ups) fingers crossed it gets better but it's taking a loooooong time though.
FYI - they never found bbs at my apt.
I think they're a great resource,the dogs are accurate up to 95% from what I've read. Only one time did Kody give a false negative at my apt, way back in March 08 and Mike even said he was not happy with that inspection so he brought back his TWO dogs later and both gave the all clear then!

A little confused. Dis you mean Kody gave a false positive as you state a little further down in your post that they were never in your apt.

Hi - yes, it was a false positive. I had bbs from an apt in sept 07 and had moved in Dec 07. I had continued to get bites though after I moved so I brought mike and kody out to my new apt. They found nothing the first 2 times they came in jan and feb 08. then in mar 08 kody hit on my bed. Mike and me took the mattress and boxspring off and had kody sniff again: he alerted to the flat metal side. My bedframe is supersimple, two flat metal bars which snap together, nothing else. Like long skinny skiis. So we're both on our knees staring at this spotless metal bar. Nothing, absolutely nothing was there. He checked the other metal bar, nothing.
As I said Mike swore there were no bugs at all. A few weeks later he brought back both his dogs and they both all-cleared.
By the way, I was getting bitten at work but my workplace didn't call kody in until JULY! I have since then had several all clears at home and at work (after Mike treated my workspace). Still have 'bites' showing up but the derm says its folliculitis and old bite flaring.
Summary: yes Kody had a false positive. I'll give Mike kudos for doing a visual to 'confirm' and admitting that kody was wrong that time. It happens.

I'm bumping this back up because I Have Mike and Kody coming in this week, thanks to excellent recommendations on here.

Oh! I had Mike and Kody in, and Kody pinpointed two spots: my bed and my roommate's couch. My roommate didn't declutter enough really, but Mike was able to get Kody around her bed to rule it out. He then suggested Orkin to me, and gave me the direct apartment handling line contact.
What was impressive to me was he said he'd speak to Orkin for me as well to let them know about his findings. Not only did he absolutely do that, but he literally did the minute he left my apartment. And then called her back while I was on the phone with her to relay more information.
I'd like to have them in again when all is said and done to hopefully give us the all clear. It was worth the price in the first place, because a visual inspection didn't find anything, and when Orkin was in treating, they had a hard time finding anything except a casing on another couch. If Kody hadn't come in and identified the problem as early as he did, who knows how long we'd have waited for treatment. I was getting bitten only every 8-9 days.

Does anyone know if Mike and Kody do apt. buildings and what the cost would be would it be by the hour or unit numbers. I am trying to convince someone I know that has them to get their landlord to do the whole building or at least the units above beside and below them.
