Embarassing question - Menstruation

Hi everyone. I'm so sorry to be posting this. I'm hideously embarassed.
I suspect I have a bed bug problem, and an exterminator appointment will be made - I haven't found any specimens but the bites are all over my calves and feet and I've found small spots of blood on the sheet.
Anyway, I got my period today, and considering the diet of a bed bug... should I be worried?

Hi,
Unlikely to effect any bed bugs but it does prompt me to remind people that an Iron supliment can be a wise addition to your diet in the case of Bed Bugs.
Although the amount of blood each bed bug takes is only small it builds up over time and unless you eat a lot of red meat that iron may not be available in your natural diet.
No need to be embarassed though, its a valid question and one that may help many others.
