Has anyone heard those Duxiana bed commercials on the radio? I'm talking about the one where the announcer says how in Sweden people "pass down" their Dux beds to relatives (heirs) and how they last forever. Maybe there are no bed bugs in Sweden? I surely wouldn't want anyone's old bed, Duxiana or other, ever. That commercial makes me laugh.

My name is Scott and I am a DUXIANA Client Services Representative and I wanted to provide an email address for DUX Bed customers who have any questions or comments that they would like addressed personally.

It is true that many of our customers keep their DUX Beds for 20 years or more. Because the top of The DUX Bed will wear more rapidly than steel coils, the removable top pad is designed to be replaced when it wears out. The life of a top pad will vary from one sleeper to the next as each person’s sleep environment and sleep habits are unique. To help extend the life of your top pad you should turn and rotate it monthly; this will help the top pad wear more evenly. Many of our customers keep their DUX Beds for 20 years or more, and simply replace the top pad every few years or so.

For more information on how to extend the life of your DUX Bed please contact your DUXIANA store You can also contact me directly at clientservices@duxianc.com and I will address your questions personally.

Dux beds sound enticing but when it comes to bed bugs the simpler the access for inspection, treatment and encasement the better off you are. Heavy mattresses, electronics or difficult to access areas make things harder. Also finding irregular bed bug proof encasement's may not be possible. Of course if you can afford a Dux and have the misfortune of a cimex sleep over things like fumigation and heat treatments are more affordable as well.
