So I started out thinking I was getting attacked by mosquitos for the past 3-4 weeks... until my 3 year old sees a lil bug crawling across my bed. Now I'm stressed and not sleeping well at all. I live in an apartment complex and have been here 5 years with no problem. Now I've seen the one on the bed, another crawling on the wall in my son's room while my sister was visiting from VA, and a few more in varying stages on my own bedsheets. After waking to one crawling on my upper arm my husband threw out the bed and boxspring... We are moving to our first single family home as of 9/1 and I don't wanna take these things with me. He thinks buying a new bed and being in a new place will save us, but from reading briefly on your site, I think it may continue at my new address. What can I do between now and Tuesday... I mean really?

You're right: Leaving the bed behind won't prevent an infestation in the new house.

If you search back through this forum, there was someone that posted really detailed experiences with having a thermal treatment done inside a moving truck. It was within the past couple of months.
