Does anyone know if baby bedbugs jump? I noticed the other day there was a small insect was moving on my bathroom floor, I live in a very new condo, so it doesn't have any insect at all before, so I was curious and wondered what it was, I got really close and tried to pick it up, it was a tiny thing like a pin and white with a bit transparent, I have seen the bed bugs picture before online and it looked really like the first nymph of bed bug, I tried to pick it up with my figer, everytime I get close to it, IT JUMP BACKWARDS! Finally I got it up and looked under the light, it really looked like the first nymph of bed bug but I don't know for sure, so I killed it and flush in the toilet.
But now I am really worried if it's bed bug and if there are more.
So I want to confirm, does anyone know if BABAY BED BUGS JUMP BACKWARD?? if it doesn't then it wasn't bed bug.
    Thank you!

BBs can't jump. Springtails is more likely what you found. They jump.

Again BBs can't jump. Doesn't matter the life stage.

Get a picture of one of your samples.
