do we know for a fact if bugs actually burrow into stuffing?

   Hello again, all,

   question: if I have a 2-inch thick pillow, do we know if the bugs actually penetrate to the center of the pillow (i.e., 1-inch), or can we assume they only lay eggs in the creases?

   This is a hypothetical question that could apply to many items. e.g., dog beds, stuffed animals, pillows, bolsters, etc.

   I don't know how deep they can go, mangy, perhaps a PCO will have some anecdotes. (I feel creepy stories coming on...)
