do u-haul trucks carry bedbugs?

   Hi,

   We are going to be moving out of New York City. The building attached to us has bedbugs so we have become very vigilant and aware (we haven't had any bedbugs to date).

   My question is - are moving vans, such as U-hauls or Penske's, known to have bedbugs w/in them. I've seen alot of info on the net saying something generic like "hotels, laundromats, etc are known to carry bedbugs, blah blah".. but I haven't seen any specific incidences written about where people have actually seen/acquired bedbugs fr/ moving vans.

   Is it safe to put all our stuff into one to move? Is there any precautions we should take?

   I've come across numerous accounts online of warnings and claims that moving vans having bedbugs. Here's one article from USA Today... at the end of the article the lady being interviewed mentions that an expert told her that moving vans are notorious for having bedbugs:
