Do they feed communally like a herd grazing?

Or do they feed individually. I'm trying to figure out bite patterns.
Do they all come out at the same time or just when they feel like it?

they don't just bite once... they walk and feed several times... I've got an 's' shape on my wrist where you can see where one had been!
the council's pest control (UK) leaflet said they feed every 10 days!!!! so are they taking shifts... I get bit every night... I'm soooo tired.
the pest control will spray the beds in two weeks as they have done the 1st treatment.
I've just noticed your post was in January.. have you got rid of yours yet? I need some hope

I first joined this site in January. I thought I had fleas for a while(in denial). Then I fought them myself and am still at it. I've made all the mistakes but amazingly the number of bites stays about the same. I thought they were gone for a while then got lax. I'm no longer in denial now. I'm still fighting them but have changed tactics- steaming, etc. I have hope because I'm in a detached single house.
Don't lose hope. Just keep fighting.
