The other morning I found http://www.flickr.com/photos/77846984@N03/7133235169/ in my bed. It was already dead, no signs of blood or anything, but it really grossed me out. Recently I have been VERY itchy, mainly on my arms. The itching however, could be from a couple different things. I was exposed to the sun all day just the other day, I recently switched to a non sensitive skin formulated laundry detergent, and the fact that I think I may have bed bugs might cause some psychological itching, too. Anyway, after I found that squished bug, I immediately washed all of my bedding, bought a mattress protector, and searched my mattress and boxspring for any signs of bugs. Nothing.

Last night, still itchy, I decided to turn on the light and check under my blankets for bugs. Found one! http://www.flickr.com/photos/77846984@N03/7133235169/ that is what I found. It was as small as an adult flea. Also, our dog DOES sleep with us, however we haven't been bit by any fleas. The only "bites" I've found seem to appear only when i'm scratching, little pink bumps appear and disappear in minutes. Here's another photo of the second bug I found. http://www.flickr.com/photos/77846984@N03/7133247107/ Does anyone have any idea if this is a bed bug?? I've never dealt with them before, so I am very new to this. Like I said it looks like a flea, but it was a brownish color instead of black. Also, if this is a flea, does that make the first bug I found the day before just a coincidence? This one was also dead when I found it, and flattened too.

The only "evidence" I may have found of it being a bed bug, from what i've read, is this. http://www.flickr.com/photos/77846984@N03/6987159622/ I found that above our bed on top of our blinds. Here's another shot. http://www.flickr.com/photos/77846984@N03/6987159428/
but from what I've read, this could be any kind of insect poop, or even mold?
I'm going crazy here, I just want to know if anyone thinks these are bed bugs.
    Please help, thanks in advance!

In my opinion, the first one you found it's a crushed beetle larvae (family Carabidae or Staphylinidae ).
Nothing BBs related in other pics too.

    Really?
    Thanks for responding.
Do you have any idea what the second bug might be?

No, not exactly. It maybe a roach nymph or another kind of bug (a myrid or a reduvid one).
    Surely isn't a BB.

    Thank you very much!
Maybe I can finally get some sleep tonight.
I respect your opinion, but if anyone else disagrees, please let me know.
I'm not a bug expert, any feedback is appreciated!

    Hi MrMonk,

EffeCi is definitely a bug expert, plus he has earned a ton of street cred on this forum. If he says your evidence is not bedbug related, I would trust it. : )
