about a month or two ago i noticed a line of bug bites on my side and i freaked. i went in my room and striped my bed and i found a little bug so i squished it and i thought it was a bed bug so i selpt in the spare room and have been in here sense. i have washed and dryed all cloths and things that could be and everything else was put into bags and sealed with duck tape. my matress is now encased and i am getting the box spring one tomorrow. and i have sprayed the room down with ortho home defense max bed bug killer. but just a short time ago i went in to grab a book of my book shelf and i notice another bug.it looks just like the first one i found so i put it in a baggy and tied the top

and sense the mattress case is white i also noticed a lot of little specks that look like pepper to me or pencil shavings .

and i also noticed what looks to be a blood spot

and two days ago i found a adult carpet beetle i saw a pic of it posed on another post by someone.

could all this the bites, the little bugs, the blood spot, and the possible fecal matter be do to carpet bettles?
oh i also found blood spots on a couple of my purses that have never been in my room. but i do travel with them and i always wash everthing as soon as i get home from weekend trips it all goes right into the washer and then dryed on high heat.

so do i possibly have bed bugs? or is all this stress and lack of sleep over carpet beetles?

I can view the first two pictures, not the third.

The bug in the bag does in fact look like a bed bug. It looks old and dark but it could just be the sample. You need to take better pictures for us but I'm going to say yeah, you have a bed bug problem.

    Good luck!!

its lot flat though and it does not have what appear to be ridges that bed bugs seem to have and it has a hard shell...i don't have a camera only my cell phone and it does not seem to want to focus on the bug and i am scared to take it out of the baggie. is there a cheep way to deal with them i can't afford to call a pest control company.

I looked at the pic and while inconclusive I don't think it is a BB but a beetle and the description and othe samples point to that and not
    BBs.
