Do I have bed bugs? (photos included)

Random parts of my body have been itching, and for a while I thought it was athlete's foot or jock itch (since those were the spots I was itching the most), but then fear of bed bugs set in. In the last couple weeks, I've noticed some bite marks, but I still wasn't sure because I haven't seen any other signs (feces, cast away skins, bugs running around, etc).
Anyway, long story short, I saw this guy running around my cat's food dish, killed it, and can't decide if it's actually a bedbug or something else (all the examples I've seen appear to show the bed bug with a separate head, where this guy looks like he's just a giant oval). That's a penny next to it.
