Do bites reappear?

I got a couple of bites on my stomach about five weeks ago. They had basically disappeared, except for the telltale red discoloration that seems to linger. Anyway, I just looked at my stomach and it looks like the bites have reappeared. It almost looks as if I've been bitten again in the same exact locations. Is that common? Do bites reappear after they have healed?

don't know how common that is, but what i experienced is the old bites (still discoloured after almost 3 months) will ocassionally itch.
