Do bed bugs always stain red or black when you crush them?

   Smushed a small brown bug that "landed?" on my arm while on a bus today. It smushed easily, but didn't leave a red or black mark. My reaction was automatic so I didn't take the time to see what it was. I would say it was around 3 mm. Do bb's always stain red or black?
