We had our first treatment on June 1. Delta Dust in all the outlets and other crevices, Bedlam and Phantom everywhere else, mattresses encased. Two weeks later, at my insistence, the PCO came back and did only our room with Talstar and Gentrol IGR. I have also been spot treating with Sterifab and Bedlam. They did not come back again until this past Friday (a month after the second partial treatment) and instead of doing Bedlam, Phantom or anything else, they just did a crack and crevice treatment through the whole house with Talstar again, and also the carpeting upstairs.

Well, these bugs have never been more prolific than they have been since the treatment on Friday. My husband woke up with about SEVEN LIVE bugs in bed with him, most of them had been feeding. Three on the CEILING above the bed, a few dead ones here and there on the floor in the two rooms to which they seem to be contained thus far. I feel like it's the worst since we originally discovered them on May 29.

I don't think the PCO knows what they are doing or at least are not sending techs who do. Supposedly it's guaranteed but they are not coming and doing thorough treament every two weeks like they need to. I worry they are just spreading it around.

I am thinking about calling them on Monday and firing them and trying to get the money we've paid thus far ($860) returned or at the very least cancelling the remainder of the year contract.

I am at my wits end, I feel like I need anxiety and depression meds and I see no light at the end of the tunnel. We've gotten rid of a lot of things and are living out of ziplocs like we are supposed to...

It's a single family home, by the way, supposedly the easiest to treat. There is another PCO that will work in our area that does thermal, but it is really expensive, they said "starting at $1,200 per room". Otherwise I don't have much of a choice as we live in a somewhat rural area in Michigan.

I'm just really discouraged and any advice would be appreciated.

i'm so sorry to hear how discouraged you are..

i'm not sure whether it's so negative if you're seeing some dead bbs. But i'm not an expert. It seems like a short time about a month and half since you started your battle? I think it can take a bit more time than that. I heard that for stand alone houses, the heat treatment can be quite effective. Have you looked into that?
