I dusted my room with DE now the K9 handler says he can't come for 30 days. Does anyone know why this might be? Also this is the same DE that the company itself uses. I got the DE from the technician that came to my home to treat.

IS it a health reason or is there another reason the handler won't bring K9 in? Just curious.

DE is a significant inhalation hazard for dogs and humans alike. I've been off the boards for awhile (was visiting family back east who still have dial up ::boggles::) so I don't know your story, but it's pretty typical for many PCOs to refuse to treat a place that's been treated with DE by someone other than them. It's for the protection of their health. I'm not surprised to hear that a dog/handler detection team would do so.

If you haven't read the FAQ on DE you should. (again, you may have done so, but since I've been offline for much of the last week, I wouldn't know that, so if you already have read it, feel free to ignore this.)
