obviously you can't put these in the drier, right? How aboutbaking in the oven ? If it only takes 140 deg. to kill them I think the boots may not get riuned by this? Has anyone debugged boots? If so, how? About the baking idea, any idea how long?I would guess 5 min once oven is preheated,no?

sorry, found the answer under treatment .Stamps says she baked at 200 deg for 20 min. with no damage to the leather. That's what I'll do.

You might try a short period in the dryer too, bugbasher. No one can promise your item won't be harmed. No one can promise how long you need to do it. 5 minutes in a dryer works for a dry sock. Your leather item might take more time.

Think I'll bake instead.I think it would look mighty funny walking into a laundrymat and thowing boots in the drier? I've never seen anyone do that and if there is an attendant there they might question it!
