    Hi,

Just found this stuck to our drapes in our bed room. It left a spot, not sure if that was because it was smoshed against the drapes. The bugs stomack looks kind of bed bug to me, so I'm currently looking it. Can someone please confirm if it is a bed bug?

    Thank you!

Was meant to say I'm loosing it, not looking it.
Feels like the colour is wrong but maybe thats because its been
    dead a while?

The pictures aren't that great. I'm not a pro, so I can't be sure but it looks winged like a carpet beetle. That's not an ID. But if it is winged try getting a better pic. Turn on a light near the bug and take a few more photos.

Not a pro here. Call me Jon Snow...... for I know nothing, except what I've experienced.

Also found these marks under the bed, in the corner. Could that be feces?

Thankful for all help I can get, not feeling to well right now.

I'm not a pro, but that bug doesn't look like a bed bug.

    Hi,

Non of the images are bed bug related.

    Hope that helps.

One of the carpet beetle species. How far away are you when taking the pictures?

Maybe 20 centimeters. It gets so blurry if I go closer

That's about 8 inches. Too far away to get a good closeup. I never heard of any camera or phone having to stay that far away from the subject. Can you zoom in and take a picture (without getting too close to get out of focus to begin with)?

Thanks Lou, I will try to zoom and get better close up.
Are you unsure of the bug or just general tips?

I'm sure lou just wants to possibly ID exactly what species of carpet beetle it is.
