    I haven't seen a bedbug in months, thanks to a heat treatment and DE. I just found out today that the apartment below mine had them (and is where my infestation came from in the first place) up until a few weeks ago. I think I avoided re-infestation because of the DE I put in every crack and crevice I could find.

    Before I had bedbugs, I had lots of house centipedes and flies and spiders. Now, nothing, zero bugs of any kind. I find dried out centipedes on the floor once in a while. Freaking awesome.

    Do be aware of inhalation precautions.
    Yes, DE is awesome. Years ago, some guy mixed DE with a very dangerous substance, creating a less-dangerous and important product. He got very wealthy for it.

    Using IPM techniques will reduce insects across the board. I seldom find anything except a rouge spider after leaving the windows open.
