    Ok, so here's my story:

About three months ago I started waking up with random bites on my body. I thought nothing of it at first, and they didn't seem to happen that frequently, so I just brushed it off. I would get maybe one new bite every four or five days, so I just brushed it off as an occasional mosquito bite that I got while I was outside that I didn't notice, or something of that nature. Eventually I noticed the bites were starting to become more frequent, and I would wake up with three or four new ones every day or every other day. Now I was starting to get a bit uneasy. I looked up some info online, and immediately got brought to some site on bed bugs, and this is when the paranoia started.

I noticed all my bites were usually around the same area. Whenever I get bites, it's never really scattered at all, but it'll all be in the same area. If I get bites on my arm, they will all be on the arm. If I get bites on my back, it's all on my back, and so on. I have never to this day gotten bites in more than two places yet. Also, the bites start out super tiny, but when scratched they swell up to massive sizes. They only itch for a little bit, then towards the end of the day they stop itching. They don't last that long, and generally disappear in two or so days.

I start looking through my room and bed (i own a metal bed frame, so that kinda made things easier), couldn't find anything. Found no signs at all; no blood spots, no sheddings, no actual bed bugs, nothing. But the bites kept coming and coming. Then finally today I inspected my blanket more thoroughly and found what appears to be some small blood spots, and possibly a fecal spot too (a random black dot, not sure if it's a bed bug fecal spot or possibly something else, but finding a random black spot is still really unsettling). Also, for the blood spots im not sure if it's bed bug related, or if I had a cut on my leg or somethin from not too long ago and some of the blood rubbed off on the sheets, so really, I'm not sure if you could consider this solid evidence or not, but still, it made me a little bit more paranoid seeing random blood and a black dot on my blanket, seeing as how it could be bed bug related. No spots or blood on my sheets though, just on my blanket. I have found no other evidence at all, but the bites keep coming. Like I said, the only evidence so far would be those on my blanket, but even then I can't be sure if it's actually evidence or not.

With me getting this many bites a night, shouldn't I have been able to see some solid evidence by now? I've heard that the only true "solid" evidence is when you actually spot a live bed bug, that is when you positively know for sure that you have them. I have yet to find a live one, just bites and small traces of what could be them here and there but it's never for sure or not. Could I possibly have bed bugs, or does it sound like something else?
