Confused on signs of bed bugs early on

We had the whole bedbug infestation drama starting Aug 30th...had 4 sprays, and haven't seen a bedbug since Oct 1. Frankly, I had bites on my hands/arms for about for week leading up to Aug 30th and thought it was a skin allergy as my skin is very sensitive. Anyway..I'm paranoid..read my other posts and you'll see it. I'm desperately afraid of every little itch, twich, etc. And again, my skin is so sensitive that if I just run my finger down my arm I have a trail of little hives for an hour. So I have a pimple on my hairline, doesn't itch..it's sore like a pimple/hair follicle. I keep thinking if it was a bite I would see a mark on my pillow or bed. Either blood, feces something. I keep reading about people getting bites with no marks on their bed. It just sounds odd, even if it is a nymph that there wouldn't be something when they peirce your skin and get their fill. Frankly, I can't remember when I started seeing the marks in our bed..how early on it was. I was so ignorant that bugs never entered my mind so they could have been there awhile. Is thinking "gee this must be a pimple since it's sore and doesn't itch (I reacted with violent hives before) and there's no mark on the bed" naive? Our PCO swears that after 4 treatments in 30 days and steam cleaning carpets, bagging, etc. with no signs in a month that we've got them all.

When I went thru my scare I was always scratching. Looking at every mark etc. I keep a log and began to notice that most of the stuff I got was normal. A pimple here, an ingrown hair there etc. Its hard not to make it drive you crazy but you will get thru it.
