I don't even know how to begin this time. I woke up with clusters of bites on my stomach. Never saw these before. So the look of your particular biting can change? Ripped apart the bed as usual, checked - nothing. Looked under encasements, nothing. The box spring encasement has a slight tear. So that will be replaced. The truth is, the furniture has to go. An antique dresser my mom bought me years ago; the futon couch and chair tht I love; my rocking chair; that's about all that's left. We don't have any money. I'm on disability and my husband was laid off after 31 years at Lenox Hill Hospital. I can't have another meltdown. On three different occassions I thought I was going to have a psychotic breakdown. I can't do that anymore. I have to remember throughout all of this - I have a life which is wonderful, in fact as of late amazing. Great things are happening - I don't want to loose focus on that. My daughter is so important to me, if I loose it again, I hurt her. My way of dealing today? Macys - my Ceasur will be here tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

So many people have no money. It aggravates stess so much. Many people out there do not understand us when we say that.

My daughter and I talk about this all the time. I had a co-worker who once say to me "Being poor is like carrying a bolder on your shoulders all day". I knew what she meant. It is exhausting to worry about money, it complicates many decisions and it limits your options.

I would have moved months ago if I had any money left. But I can't afford movers to take furniture to the dump and I really can't afford to replace all my belongings that I would have to abandon if we were to move. "Just $10,000!" is what my daughter says every time she buys a lottery ticket. That's the magic number that would pay for a move and a few pieces of furniture.

Stay strong, Betty. We all have our meltdowns and I have also felt like I was on the verge of a psychotic breakdown ... but then I recover. Battling BBs is like riding an emotional roller-coaster.

I would love to hear about the great things that happening, which you mention. What's going on?

Betty, I totally understand what you mean about Macy's!! I'm Canadian and we don't have them up here, but I was on business in the US and fell in LOVE with Macy's. I would just wander around and look at the Coach purses and the jewellery counter. I could spend hours there!

Often times people get torqued because the best method for BB eradication is a professional and the treatments are not cheap or easy. PCOs will tell you they are the hardest damn pest to treat.

Here we will suggest the most reliable method which involves money but certainly if you study you ass off, apply the knowledge of BB biology to your situation, prepare a plan, and go on a search and destroy mission that will take a long damn time, they can be eradicated.

These aren't spray and pray bugs to get rid of.

If you can't hire a pro you have a long row to hoe and you have to study lots and out think the little bastards. Seek and destroy.

I am so sorry This absolutely outrages me. I said to my husband today that if this is becoming a epidemic won't the government have to step in sometime?
