okay, IF I slept in a hotel bed 4 nights that had bed bugs, discovered they were a possibility,
came home and washed everything before bringing in house, could I still be bringing them home?

I washed ALL clothes, blankets, pillows, BEFORE bringing them in, could I still get them?
Computers, game boys, (that were on bed) were brought in without thinking. Shoes also were not washed.
    I didn't think of everything.

IF the bites are bed bugs. (which I think they are,) 3 or 4 bites would be detected in the morning. Is this considered a light infestation? Is there less to worry about spreading them to my granddaughters house who is the one that got the bites.

I will just die if they infest my daughters and grand daughters home!

Bite detection. If you are experiencing skin reactions to bites you could be experiencing delayed reactions due to immune system and its response time to the initial bites.
Of course the possibility exist that you could have brought bugs home with you. All it takes are a couple of small nymphs or one pregnant female to start an infestation.
If you stay in hotels in the future Dr. Pollack at Harvard University I believe has some info on this.

    Hope this helps.
