I have had bed bugs since I moved into my apartment (unfortunately I bought the place). I have had 8 treatments, including holes drilled into the walls and dust put in and holes sealed-. It turns out that the neighbors surrounding my apartment have bed bugs and they will be treated this week. I would like to know if anyone has any experience with cellulose insulation? I am thinking of blowing it into the walls for its soundproofing capability. The cellulose is treated with borate for fire retardation. I heard that the borate is good for pest control and I'm wondering if this will hinder the bed bugs. On the other hand, the cellulose might be a place that the bed bugs could breed and treatment would be more difficult.
