Correct me if I'm wrong and I'm sure I am but those CO2 containers, are they the SAME CO2 that is used in pellet guns and painball guns?

Hello,
Yes and no. The ones the CDC uses are pure CO2. Most pellet gun cartridges contain lubricants and cannot be used with the CDC or it will affect the capture rates.
