Does anyone know of a company doing vikane car fumigations in the Philadelphia area (including southern NJ and Delaware)? the information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Good luck on this post. I've posted this question many times and still don't have a definite answer. I am in the Philly area too and can't even locate a detailer who could at least steam the car.

    sandibug,
I talked to guy, he actually works outside NYC, he said he could do a car $750 if I drove it in, dropped it off, and came back by train...If I didn't, it would be extra because of their travel, and shipping the Vikane.
I think it was http://www.westernpest.com/programs/fumigation. (too pricey for me, but there's the info)

I'll tell you if I find anything about a steam detailer, too.

Thanks so much for the info-I'm going to call Monday! It is expensive but I can pick my car up so hopefully $750 will do it. By the way, do you have a car or SUV, just wondering since i have an SUV it may be more expensive but I'll find out on Monday. Thanks again. Anyone else? please post.

    Sandibug,
They didn't ask what type of car I have, so I assume it doesn't change the price (unless it's an 18 wheeler or something). Hope it works out. I'll just keep checking mine for signs.
    Good luck.

    Grateful-
The company quoted me $825 (wow!) but said its too cold out right now - He has to wait until it goes above 40 degrees. The company that's doing my house said they'll spray our cars. Since I'm not sure of an infestation I think that's the route I'm going to go for now. Btw- I found a dog team that will search cars so we're actually going to do that first. This whole situation is so frustrating (everything is so unknown). I've been depressed but now I'm just starting to get really angry! Well, enough venting thanks again for the info and good luck with your situation as well.
