I saw this ad in Hamacher's catalogue and i remember that my mom has one of these wands that she takes on vacation with her to kill...i don't know...whatever...

So i googled whether uv light can kill bbs and i found many sites that say it can. Here's just one of the sites for the brand of uv wand my mom has. What do you think? Professionals? Entomologists? Anyone? I'm thinking of getting one if it's work..

If so do you think it would also work on fleas, flea eggs?

Those websites are wrong. The entomologists and PCOs here have weighed in before on that one. If you search the fora for posts on UV, you may find those posts, and they may contain info that might give you an answer about fleas too.

I cannot speak to whether it would work on fleas or not, but UV definitely does nothing to kill bed bugs.

Snake oil in a convenient 10 nm to 400 nm wavelength dispenser.

Great for bacteria, dust mites but useless for bedbugs and likely useless for fleas.

Its amazing how many people jump off the dust mite bandwagon and onto the bedbug trail.

Shame on them is what I say.
