can they be gone so soon? maybe a mild case?

I went on a business trip mid September and didnt know for sure that I had BB until I saw one 2-3 weeks ago. The PCO came and inspected my entire apt and only found them against this one wall (where my bed is pushed up against) in my room and no where else in the apt. He sprayed a little but bit but wouldnt come back until I emptied the closet and washed and bagged everything. Whatever couldnt washed (shoes, bags) was thrown away. I sent some things to the dry cleaners. Threw away clothes I havnt worn in a year to avoid the hassle of washing and folding. Everything else-books, cds, movies, beauty products, random stuff, etc etc--I threw away. He came back last Tuesday Oct 20th and sprayed the whole room. Again checking the rest of the apt out to find no evidence of them and confirmed they were just in my room, along that wall and some in the closet. He said there were babies, not too many adults.
I threw away my entire bed as well. The closet is now completely empty. I've been sleeping on the living room couch and have not experienced any bites since last weekend Sunday, October 18th so that's 10 days. He's coming back tomorrow to do a final spraying to kill anything further just incase. It seems like this was a mild case. My roommate never experienced anything. Am I safe to say that they are officially gone?
I thought I read if you left your room to sleep elsewhere, they'd follow you. And I have not seen that to be the case. They don't seem to be anywhere else in the apt and i'm just hoping this nightmare is over. To those of you who have dealt with this for a long time, I pray for you as I dont think I could deal with this longer. Is it possible that they are gone?
