I've been trying to identify the bites that I have gotten-- is it possible for raised bumps to be bites if they dont itch? I have several that itch really bad, but things that appear like deep pimples are popping up around my neck. (Ive gotten things similar in the past, but never this many.

I just asking if you will react the same to each bite

    Hi,

I have heard that you can have different reactions in different parts of the body. I have the same neck "zits" that hurt and only sometimes itch. They tend to get dry flaky patches of skin on top after a few days and they last forever... weeks. In other areas I don't have any real marks to see. I have itches in the same spots though and if I look closely, especially after a shower I can see small red dots in those spots. My boyfriend looks like he has chicken pox all over but not on his face or neck. Some bites are raised welts and others have a red pit in the middle... some big, some small. I wonder about these neck spots as I have some on my hairline too and thought it might have been my new conditioner.. but I have been off of it for 3 weeks now and still had new bumps a few days ago. If you look in the bug bites FAQ you will get more info and pictures.
