Can bed bugs be gone after 2 treatments?

   2 weeks ago i found out i had bedbugs and ripped walls and carpet out. I also got rid of a bed and a couple of dressers. I don't think we had them bad. My son just started getting bites a month ago and so hasn't my daughter. Their bed rooms are upstairs. My husbands and I haven't got bit. I got the PCO in last week and they are coming back the day after Mother's day. The PCO has been doing this for 30 yrs and said for me not to worry because its not a bad infestation. He also gave me a 6 month guarantee. We are also planning on replastering the hallway. (didnt rip down because of bb's ripped it down because it was old) and carpeting the rooms after the final treatment. Is it possible for the bb's to be gone after the second and last treatment?

   I think 2 treatments are the standard. If you have a light infestation, it may well work after two. I would still monitor things, of course, maybe get a passive monitor on the beds, but all you can do is wait and see
