camden council pest control?

I live in Camden council in london and they provide a pest control service which includes bedbugs, they make the same offers and guarantees as most PCOs except they are quite alot cheaper. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience of council pest control? I realise we can't post reccomending commercial services but this is more of a local government service so I hope it will be overlooked, I just want to know if anyone has heard of any successes or are they just general pcos who might spread the problem.

There are not many UK people who post on the boards and to be best of my knowledge you are the first UK'er from Camden, welcome.
I will refrain from commenting too much other than to say they have got better at dealing with bed bugs over the years, 3 years back it was a nightmare clearing a property that they had been working on.
I would suggest that you follow the advice on the FAQ's here and in other places on selecting who does the work for you, it is certainly not a subject where price should necessarily be your first concern experience and efficiency are really priceless when it comes to not wanting to live with bed bugs.
