    Hey All,

Ever since getting bit a few years ago while travelling in New York, I have been careful to isolate and clean my luggage upon returning home. I finished all my laundry and was about to run my backpack through the drier when I noticed this sitting at the bottom of the plastic bag it had been in. I'm pretty sure it's not a bed bug, but I would appreciate some confirmation and suggestions as to what it could be (and if I should be worried).

I realize the large elongated bug thing isn't a BB, but the two seem to be attached, and I didn't want to damage the little guy by trying to separate them. Also, I did receive some bites on this trip, but I was outside a lot, so they could have been something else.

I have re-bagged my backpack until I figure out what I should do.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the reassurance KillerQueen! If anyone has any thoughts on what it is and if I should be concerned I would appreciate it.

    Hi,

    Nothing to worry about.

I would say the insect (although technically its not) is most likley a sow bug.

The other item looks like a dropping of something.

So nothing to be concerned about.
