Bug ID please

I am tracking down all these bugs and putting them in bags for my landlord. I apologize for their quality. he told me that the people downstairs from me have bed bugs so I've been freaking out ever since. I had these tiny little bugs though in my other apartment in the same complex. I see them fall off my cats., or I see them under my pillows sometimes. They're brown with a black head. My landlord is telling me that my bites are probably flea bites. Fleas are rare in Alaska. But here is a photo of this bug and a few of my bites. Like I said before too, who knows what else is hiding in this building. It's old, and people move in and out all the time from all over.

and the bug:

It's a lot of stress. The people downstairs from me are messy. So are the people on the other side of them. I hate feeling like I'm going to get something weather I'm clean or not. I'll keep looking for the bed bugs though if this one isn't it. -
Nobody can identify bites as bedbug bites. Not even a doctor. The picture of the bug does not look like a bedbug, but one of the pros will come along and help you identify what it is.
In the meantime, hang in there and try not to fret.
