    I found a bunch of these on my window sill.. I must have cleaned the sill about a week or two ago at the most but found a bunch.

    It's a beetle. NOT a bed bug.

    What kind of beetle might it be? I think I am having skin reactions to them once in a while... and what do you do to get rid of these in an apartment?

    Thank you.

    I can't see them very well, but it looks like something I get. It will be interesting to see what the entomologists say.

    I am on a mobile so I cannot be certain, but they look like sawtoothed grain beetles.

    I would not expect this type of beetle to cause any skin reactions or harm.

    To get rid of them:

    > First, this dependes on what it is EXACTLY and we don't know this by these photos.

    > If it is a grain or pantry type pest beetle then do this:

    * Inspect your pantry for any foodstuffs that may be infested.
    * Remove all infested foods, if any.
    * Inspect all cracks & crevices.
    * Vacuum thoroughly.
    * Treat and/or seal all cracks & crevices.
    * Follow up inspect.

    > If it's not a grain type beetle pest, you will need to inspect and check the areas from which this type of beetle may be coming from.

    Hope this helps ! paul b.
