    getting eaten alive on either couch or bed. found a couple pests but after researching this seems like most likely culprit so far. any thoughts. Unfortunately i killed the bug already, otherwise, i would have more diligently followed the instructions for high resolutions photos. Thank you for your time!

    Correct, a shiny spider beetle. Bed bugs never really have this shape and body parts are not bed bug type.
