Wasn't someone just asking about boric acid?

I think the answer to that one is in the first 35 seconds of the first episode:

I have a feeling that I want to dust off the webcam in the office tomorrow and see if I can’t get a little YouTube footage up in reply.

Although there is nothing wrong with basing your internet TV channel on the content of a forum it might could possibly be considered good etiquette to participate in that medium of discussion as well.

But hey it’s a free space to post what people want and anything that gets the message out is good. I would have personally made a different selection of shirt and wall paper though but maybe that’s something that you don't get from hundreds of jobs and inspections.

Although I think if as he says humour is to be included we could have a submission to the punch line thread here:

I would never steal topics off the site and not post on them myself if I see something that needs to be commented on. We literally sit around before filming episodes and discuss what we should film. It just so happened, that episode aired at the same time somebody was asking the question. A lot of what drives what episodes we film are things that are repetitively asked such as DE, boric acid, "what works?", etc...

It's funny you should mention the wallpaper because I feel like we film in a 70's studio. It's the only room we have available to us. I don't want the focus to be humor, just try to bring a smile to a serious topic.

Maybe I can come and be a guest when I make it to NY in Jan 09. Subject to wall paper change though I am fussy what TV stations I appear on but radio is a different matter.

Yes David, please do a guest appearance! I love Jeff's video clips, I think they are helpful. I always figured he didn't decorate that office himself....besides, he has a helpful site. Now David, you have a wickedly good sense of humor so I'm sure you could do a nice British version youtube show for sure. I'm quite certain you will entertain us if you do as well as inform us.

I am glad the boric acid came up, I have been researching bed bugs only a few months and I am already drowning in places I have read misinformation that boric acid would kill them. It is great to know there are places with accurate info.

    thanks guys!

Jeff you oughta do a segment on harborage sites to show non bed places they will hide. You get the wallpaper right there to point that one out. :)

    Hi Bitten123,

I was planning on waiting till I had the new HD video and macro camera rather than a webcam but I will see what I can do next week.

I been approached again by a TV company to do something a lot more investigational on bed bugs which would be ideal but its not the first time I have been asked and then nothing followed up on the matter. I am a few years off that grey and distinguished look but with the stress of bed bugs I am getting there rapidly.

Glad you see the humour in my posts, they are seriously not meant to offend and seem to have at least draw a passing comment. For the record I 100% support any concept that spreads the word of bed bugs and teach people that it can be avoided and detected early.

I'm going to have to put a funny sign up behind me on the wallpaper to acknowledge those who have read this thread. Look for that in future episodes.

David you're more than welcome to make an appearance in the future. I'm actually going to be doing some interviews in the future with different people in the field. I wanted to film live at Pestworld in front of some of the interesting booths but it just never happened.

Look for some really good live footage of heat treatments coming in the next few weeks. We're hopefully filming live heat footage next week and will put it up ASAP. That will really help people understand what goes into heat treatments. I just need to get permission from the site we are heat treating.
