Hi all, hoped never to have to post again but just had strange situation occur which is making me uneasy. I have been keeping vigilant and have had no confirmed sightings for over a year but lots of random skin reactions. These have settled down too recently and am now comfortable enough to lie on my bed for a snooze which I did today. Came home early from work and lay on top of my white duvet fresh on yesterday. I dozed for an hour before heading out to a chiropractor appointment. I woke with the back of my forearm burning and feeling itchy . It had been tucked underneath me in contact with top of duvet. I looked and there was no mark or swelling so I headed off and thought no more of it. When I returned about an hour later I noticed my arm had broken out in a few raised welts. I considered I must have scratched it and caused a reaction but curiosity made me go into check.bedding and i noticed just where my arm had been were two pale spots of what I took to be blood traces. They did not look like typical faecal marks and wiped off with damp cloth very easily. I am certain it was blood yet my arm had no mark on it when I first looked at it , but now has two tiny pin prick red dots surrounded by raised tissue. My question is if I was bitten and this was blood it must have come from a bug as I had no broken skin when I first felt the itch. Would I not expect to see a crushed bug and would the blood be so easy to remove ( it was only a couple of hours old) . I have passive monitor and mattress cover in situ. Passive is clear. Bed and bedding are all white and no other marks anywhere. I know it's nebulous but I am just looking for advice/reassurance. I should also mention that I recently took some items out of quarantine after 18 months of being wrapped one of which was a suitcase which had been thoroughly steam cleaned before being wrapped.
