I have small blood spots on the bottom sheet , and read that it could be from crushing the BB , but I can only see blood , no BB remains . If it is BBs , I'm guessing it's their dropping but it looks like blood , and since BBs only eat blood would their dropping be mostly blood ? And is there any disease associated with those droppings ?

they leave fecal streaks, and yes; their feces is your blood.
better have a PCO over. You can ask if they will do a free assessment. But, don't go washing and disturbing all evidence before they come.
    sorry!!!

Its been almost 2 years (or 3? - last post date and "Posted x year ago" aren't the same) without signs of BBs, but a week ago I notice itchy bites then 2 days ago I noticed dark spots on the sheet near the shoulder area and on the pillow.

Question 1: Can BBs literally live inside mattresses?
2: What's the average life span of a BB?
3: What's the growth rate of BBs? Will I be expecting more bite in three years?
4: Can fleas produce dark spots as-well? (Reason why I ask is because I found a bug that looked more like a flea).

PS: I still live in the same house, in the same room, with the same bed.
