I've thought I've had bedbugs in the past, but was luckily mistaken.
Around this time last year (cold & rainy season) I had the feeling of being bit at night, mostly on legs. I suspected bedbugs because I had a friend over who had been fighting them. I cleaned thoroughly (steamed, vacuumed, used thermal strike box, etc). They weren't flea bites or scabies. Symptoms resolved a month or so later.

This year, it has started again.
I feel bite sensations on my feet and legs.

Last week, I had several small scabs appear on the top of my foot after a brief, mild itching sensation there(I never scratched).

The other day, my right calf started to mildly itch. Again, I didn't scratch, but I did rub the area lightly. Again, I saw these little scabs. In this case, 4 very small scabs, all spaced about 2 inches apart.
No swelling, no redness apart from the small scabs. Itching faded within an hour or two after it was first felt.

I haven't seen any bedbugs, or any bedbugs sign or feces in my bed and I've looked pretty closely.

The biting sensation does wake me up at night.

Anything else besides bedbugs that leaves bites in lines?

Also, could I be being bit at work (I sit in a shared office cubicle)? I'm thinking that would explain the lack of bedbugs in my home, but wouldn't explain the biting sedation at night.
Btw, when I look at night, immediately after feeling biting, I don't see any evidence then either)

I got an itch I just can't scratch

I also wanted to add that my pillows and mattress are encased in a protective covering already. No evidence anywhere on it (seams or elsewhere).
Have also put bed posts in those plastic bedbug traps, have seen other bubba (ants, house centipedes, beetle), but no bedbugs ether

    No ideas, sorry.

    I am NOT an expert.
My opinions are just opinions, they may NOT apply to yours or any situation.
My advice is to always do a LOT of research.
