Is it weird that UNTIL the treatments, I wasn't being bitten very much, and after treatments I am getting bitten every day? Also, I don't get bitten at night at all, but during naptimes in the same bed during the day, I do. Isn't that odd? I know they bite at various times, but I am trying to figure out if maybe there is another pest here in addition to the bbs.
    Thank you.

I wouldn't call it weird, it does however sound like your treatments aren't working. The reaction to bites doesn't necessarily occur immediately, so afternoon is typical for you to notice you've been bitten. One more thing, your naps may elicit a stronger alert for some CO-related reason.

Is that right??? It;s not that they are coming out bc they're lured by the exciter and then dying after biting me??? My treatments were this past Tues and the Tues before.

I'm no expert, but from what I've read on this forum, those who've had success notice a steady decrease in activity/bites. Everybody's experience is different, however. What do your instincts tell you?

Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's typical to have bites increase after two treatments. OTOH, I am not one of the success stories.

What is the "lure" and what do you mean by exciter? Is this how the PCO described your treatment works.

About the co-existence of another biting pest, there have been a few cases cited here (for example, bed bugs and bird mites). There is also the speculation of a cimex symbiont that may cause the host additional problems.

    Good luck to you.
