Please see the picture below. This afternoon i glanced at my arm and saw this. Please see my last post: http://bedbugger.com/forum/topic/someone-with-bed-bugs-came-over-to-my-place-freaking-out

It's not itchy or irritating at all. I also know it can't be a mosquito bite because there are no mosquitoes where I am. Can you let me know if this is a bed bug bite?

Also please note that I have not found any traces of bed bugs, eggs, fecal matter, or cast skins. I also setup a beacon which didnt find anything...

    Hi ignite,
A bb scare is very difficult.
I am no expert, but there is no way to Id the mark.
It could be anything in addition people react differently to bites, some not at all.
Keep watching and see if you see any signs.
    Good luck

It is not a good approach to id a bed bug infestation just based on a bite. Everyone reacts differently. Some people dont at all. Look around and see if you can find any other signs

Despite the fact that this photo is not consistent with the bites that I might normally see in the field, as pointed out above, we do NOT wish to confirm an infestation based solely upon the presence of what may or may not be a bite.

If Bbs feed there must be fecal stains. Given sufficient time there will also be shed skins, eggs, live BBs and carcasses for you to find/see.

    Calm down & keep looking.

Hope this helps ! paul b.
