    Hello,

Twice in the past week I've turned back my sheets to find what kind of looks like a nymph (it's hard to tell from photos, especially since they're small) in my sheets. I'm nervous we have bedbugs. However, I thought the behaviour of these bugs was unlike that of bedbugs, so if someone could either confirm or ease my fears, I would be very appreciative. I am going to try to collect a sample for identification, but in the meantime...

1.) Both times I found these bugs I was JUST going to bed. The lights in my room had been on for the evening and it wasn't very late at night (midnight maybe).
2.) Each time I found one, I let it sit on my hand to see if it would bite, but it didn't.
3.) They weren't clear, but reddish/brown - they couldn't possible have "fed" already (I hadn't gotten into bed yet), but perhaps their colour was still up from feeding the night before. Is this possible?

So, given the above, could anyone help?

    Thank you!!

Next time bag them up and save them. Post a pic for hopeful ID, wait 1 week and then let it have access to your skin again. 99% chance in that scenario it will bite you if a BB or any other blood sucker.
