Bedbugs while traveling - home now; what to do with books?

   I think I picked up some bedbugs while traveling -- had the bite marks, blood stains on sheets, etc. I bagged everything when I came home (before coming into the house proper), washed & dried the clothes today, but I have a few books I picked up while traveling that I am loathe to discard.

   I live in the UK, so not only do I not have access to a Packtite, my oven doesn't go low enough for the library book protocol I've seen linked a few places on this site.

   Does anyone have any suggestions for other options? I'm not sure if the books would've been infested, but of course I would rather be safe than sorry -- perhaps my only option is to dispose of them... ?

   Thank you for any thoughts! Right now the books are bagged up waiting for something to be done with them...
