Bedbugs replaced by roaches?
(5 posts)-
I haven't had a chance to post my bedbug story yet but here's the latest. After self treating and being bedbug free for about one month now....I'm findng roaches in my bedroom! Ugh! I had roaches years ago in the kitchen but used TAT and never had them again. Now I am finding them in the bedroom and one even crawled accross my pillow! I don't eat in the bedroom, don't have any clutter so I can't understand why I am getting them now. My husband said they must smell bedbugs in the encasements, assuming that roaches eat bedbugs, but I'm not convinced. Anyone else have this happen?

I forgot to mention that I'm also seeing numerous spiders as well. Previously we'd see one spider a year at most. Spiders I can handle.

I have no opinion on the roach situation, but I can tell you that there was an increase in other bugs as I started to get rid of the bedbugs. I saw a lot of spiders and centipedes. It was as if word had gotten out in the bug-world that my apartment was fun, and suddenly everyone was vacationing there! For a while, my bedroom was the vacation hot-spot for all creepy-crawlies!

You could have flushed them out, or someone else in the building may have done so as well.

I have heard of roaches eating BB but never from a real reliable source allot of it may depend on the type of roach
