   I have been bitten approximately 5 times in the past month and am unsure as to whether this is due to bed bugs. After looking up on the internet I began searching around my bed, and have found small bugs along the skirting board by my bed. I also found 2 on the seam of my mattress protector. They are approximately 1mm in length and dark brown/black.

   I am uncertain as to whether these are bed bugs?

   Dear jem,

   Based on the first photo it looks like psocids or book lice however, I'd like to see a better close up photo to be sure if possible as this one is a tad out of focus on my lap top.
