BedBug Fecal Matter or Dirt [a: dirt]

   Hey:

   I am moving into a furnished apartment, so I am super paranoid. I got the Protect a Bed Mattress encasements or both the mattress and boxspring (both for the mattress as indicated on here).

   Anyway, I thoroughly inspected the bed and frame with a friend. It was pretty clean except on a slat on the boxspring, it had these dark markings. (We also cleaned the frame with bleach).

   Are these potential fecal stains or dirt?
