i was wondering i bought a new bed and i had bed bugs and i do think they r gone but i want to keep my bed in a plastic bad will the bed bugs get in there if they are still here???????

buy a mattress encasement, and one for your box springs too. make sure to get one it is bed bug/dust mite proof, the fabric ones are the best

Not only will they prevent BBs from entering or exiting, but they should do the same for dust mites, which are super-allergenic. It's a good idea all around!

Some of those have gaps large enough for bed bug nymphs to escape. There have been advancements in the last few years with making bed bug-specific products and testing them. I'd go with one specifically labeled and tested to keep bed bugs in or out.

Are the plastic/vinyl mattress encasements any good with BBs?
