    Hello,

So for nearly a week I have been getting red welts of various sizes on my arms and legs, but mostly on my legs. I have had a PCO come look at the place and says no bed bugs.

This afternoon I took a nap and when I woke up I found two more bites on my ankles. I haven't been able to locate anything like a bug in my place.

I should mention that this bite fest has coincided with extremely hot temperatures and high humidity. Also last summer I had a couple large welts on my legs, but they lasted a day or two and I chalked it up to spiders or mosiquitos. Considering the large amount of bites I have, probably over two to three dozen, it's not that.

Could it be carpet beetles? Some of the bites on my legs appear to be in a nice half moon curve.

I'm planning on getting my carpets steam cleaned. This is driving me insane, what would bite me mid day? Could it be from my air conditioner? I have one of those hotel like, in the wall ones that I've been running non stop recently to beat the heat.

I haven't traveled, shopped at thrift stores, no blood on my sheets or fecal matter to be found, no late night bugs scurrying about. The management company said there haven't been any BB cases in any units near or around mine.

The bites are all different sizes too, some are huge welts, some are small as pin pricks, not all are itchy, some are raised some are not, but they all appear on parts of my body that have either touched the floor (I have carpet) or laid on my couch, (I've been sleeping on it for weeks since it's in front of the AC).

Also, there are a lot of books in my place (the guy I sublease from in a book hoarder) are there bugs associated with books?

I just want to know what's biting me so I can fight them.
